About 7 years ago, my husband was stationed in Turkey. While we were there, we decided to pick up some authentic Turkish rugs. The design on the rugs is Unique and exotic. They are full of rich colors that are warm and inviting. There is a history to the design, but to be honest, I've forgotten.

I really love the pattern design and wonderful rich colors of these rugs.
There are so many things that we see every day that can inspire, but sometimes we take for granted.
Look around your house. What colors are the walls? Does your wall paper have print? Are your rugs a unique color? What design and/or colors are on your shower curtain? How can you incorporate these elements in your crafting?
Take a walk around your neighborhood. What season is it? What colors are the tree leaves? How about the sky? the buildings? Any of these elements could be the spark for your inspiration.
Walk around a shopping mall. What colors show up in the most stors? What designs in the fabric are popular? Don't forget to look up and down! The ceiling or floor tiles may hold the key to your inspiration!
Everywhere and every day we see elements that might inspire. Don't forget to look all around. you never know where inspiration lies.
